I never got around to posting this when I passed but a conversation with someone this week triggered me to write my reflections on passing this certification.
It certainly wasn’t easy, the credentialing exam was one of the hardest exams I have taken and there is a lot of frustrated people in the reviews stating the same so it did make me feel proud that I managed to pass as well as pass the coach call recording section also.
The training was very insightful and I had a great learning cohort, some of whom have progressed with me to PCC and Coaching Leaders and they have really pushed me on to achieve better things in my coaching. The insights and training provided by Lucia and Coaching Outside The Box has really shaped me in my approach and how present myself in Coaching Conversations. Putting this into action when I can as part of my coaching role has made me well rounded and able to partner on so many different levels than I was able to in the past.
The Agile Coaching role has progressed so much, it became clear that this was a skill set that I needed to improve in order to meet the demands of the role as i encompasses Leadership, individuals and teams. It has been invaluable.
I have completed my PCC training and mentor coaching now which has been a massive step forward. Hopefully in the next few weeks there will be a more timely and detailed update on my journey to PCC!
